Jeep, an iconic American automobile brand, is now under the ownership of the multinational corporation Stellantis. Since Chrysler acquired Jeep from American Motors Corporation (AMC) in 1987, it has remained an integral part of Chrysler's lineup. Jeep's current product portfolio is exclusively comprised of sport utility vehicles, ranging from crossovers to rugged off-road SUVs, including a pickup truck. While Jeep previously offered pickups, vans, and roadsters, its focus has shifted to SUVs. Notably, models like the Grand Cherokee cater to the luxury SUV segment, a market segment that Jeep's Wagoneer is credited with pioneering in 1963. With global SUV sales reaching 1.4 million units in 2016, Jeep has experienced significant growth since 2008. In the U.S., it emerged as Fiat-Chrysler's top-selling brand in the first half of 2017.
