This thing accelerates like it's being sucked by an F1 slipstream, but the low-speed following feels a bit jerky.

As a car owner, driving this C63 S F1 Edition in Malaysia is just amazing! Full marks for exterior design, with F1 elements fully loaded. Every time I park at the KLCC car park, people always ask about it. The 2.0T hybrid + electric motor delivers a combined 680hp. During the morning rush hour, I switch to pure electric mode to quietly pass through the toll station, and when the green light turns on, in hybrid mode it's 0–100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, leaving nearby GLCs far behind. On weekends, driving up to Genting, the four-wheel drive feels super stable, but with a weight of 2165kg, it's still a bit heavy for cornering. Interior gets 4 stars, the Burmester sound system is great, but the pure electric range for the rear is only 11 km, just for show. RM950,000 is worth it, after all, it’s AMG’s hybrid beast!

Previously, driving a 3 Series always felt like it lacked some "intensity." After switching to the C43, I finally found my favorite! During the morning rush near KLCC, the smoothness of the 48V mild hybrid + 9DCT exceeded my expectations. Following traffic at low speeds was not jerky, and the ACC helped free my right foot. On weekends, driving on the North-South Highway, the explosive power of that 408 horsepower + 14 horsepower motor pinned me to the seat when I floored the accelerator. The 4.6-second 0-100 acceleration was so exhilarating, and the grip provided by the all-wheel drive in Klang Valley’s curves made it feel like the car was glued to the road during turns.
However, there are some drawbacks: The 50L fuel tank only provides a highway range of just over 500 kilometers, requiring frequent stops at rest areas; the raised middle floor in the rear makes the legs of the middle passenger feel a bit cramped when the back seat is full. But considering the AMG-tuned exhaust sound and the sound quality of the Burmester sound system, these minor issues are completely tolerable. After all, for 440,000 MYR, getting both performance and luxury with the three-pointed star—what more could you ask for?

Overtaking during morning rush hour is as easy as cutting through butter. When you step on the 2.0T + electric motor, it instantly surges forward. On slippery roads during rain, the four-wheel drive remains stable. However, the 19-inch tires need to go slow over speed bumps. Three people in the back seat won't feel cramped. The Burmester sound system saves half my life when stuck in traffic!

Yesterday, driving on the highway in heavy rain, the steering wheel was as steady as if welded to my hands. Overtaking and changing lanes felt completely stable, full of a sense of security!

What is the mileage of GLA 2018?
In 2018, the Mercedes-Benz GLA was available in variants such as the GLA 200 and the GLA 250 4MATIC. The GLA 200 was typically equipped with a 1.6L turbocharged engine, producing around 156 horsepower (115 kW), with a manufacturer-claimed combined fuel consumption of approximately 6.5L/100km (NEDC) . The GLA 250 4MATIC, however, featured a 2.0L turbocharged engine , delivering around 208 horsepower (155 kW) in higher-output versions , with a manufacturer-claimed combined fuel consumption that varied but could be around 7.0L/100km or higher depending on the specific model and testing cycle .
However, the actual fuel consumption may vary due to multiple factors like driving habits, road conditions, and vehicle load. Fuel consumption is just one part of the vehicle's operating costs. Vehicle maintenance, repairs, etc., also need to be considered. When buying a car, it's recommended to take multiple factors into account.
How much horsepower does a 2018 GLA have?
