Jaecoo is a marque of Chinese vehicle manufacturer Chery that debuted in 2023. The marque was established to sell SUVs to export markets such as Europe, Russia, Malaysia, Middle East, South Africa and Chile with sales starting in early 2024 in several markets.The marque was launched in April 2023 in Wuhu, Anhui, China, alongside the Omoda marque. The two brands (referred to as "O&J" brands) are only sold outside China to support its export strategy. Both brands were targeted to reach a global annual sales of 1,400,000 units by 2030 (excluding China).In the same month, Chery established an independent company in China called Anhui Omoda Jaecoo Automobile Co., Ltd. as a sales company.
