Every day when stuck in traffic, the power of this Bentley always gives me great confidence to overtake, and even with the back seat full of family members, it doesn’t feel cramped. However, with this weather, the leather seats need frequent maintenance, and it would be even better if there were more safety features for added peace of mind.

Every morning rush hour squeezes through traffic gaps, this old Bentley accelerates with a touch of gas, never hesitating to overtake! Three buddies in the backseat can squeeze together drinking milk tea without touching elbows, and the leather seats, after two hours in the sun, could fry an egg—yet once the doors are closed and the air conditioning is turned on, the scent inside is still the pinnacle of luxury.

After nearly ten years of driving the Flying Spur, every time I sit in the interior, it still feels as comfortable as touching new velvet. It's just that the body requires extra caution when navigating through alleys during morning rush hours, but the confidence it brings when overtaking a truck with one pedal is worth it.

Last week, I took my family to Cameron Highlands. On the way up the mountain, we encountered a sudden rainstorm. The mountain road was slippery, and there was a long line of cars. The low-end torque of the 4.0T V8 was truly impressive—lightly tapping the gas while following another car allowed us to smoothly overtake. When cornering, the air suspension kept the body roll tightly in check. Even though my wife was in the back seat soothing the baby, they didn’t wake up. However, the lack of advanced safety features in the older car is a downside. On a rainy day, I had to grip the steering wheel firmly during lane changes—if only there was lane-keeping assist, it would have been perfect. Deducting a point for safety is totally fair.
