The new Volkswagen Jetta has been spotted overseas, with a starting price of $23,295, which is cheaper than the previous model. Although the new Jetta has undergone a facelift, it still retains a familiar look. The front end features an all-new lighting setup, including three lens headlights, daytime running lights, and a chrome grille that stretches across. The lower bumper is fitted with a honeycomb mesh grille.
The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta is available in five trims: S, Sport, SE, SEL, and GLI Autobahn. The S, Sport, SE, and SEL trims are powered by a 158-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The GLI trim, on the other hand, is equipped with a 228-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, and comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, with an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

At the rear, the Jetta features a connected tail light design, which still hints at the previous model but now offers a more cohesive look, with the two tail lights linked by a decorative panel. The GLI trim gets a distinctive black rear bumper design and more prominent exhaust tips.
Inside, the new Jetta largely retains the current model's interior layout, such as the continuous air vent strip and the floating central touchscreen. The 8-inch infotainment screen is standard across the range, and it comes with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The GLI trim adds red accents and stitching on the dashboard, seats, and steering wheel.
