Bangkok Motor Show: HAVAL JOLION HEV Debuts, Equipped with 1.5T Hybrid System

On March 25, 2024, the Bangkok International Auto Show officially kicked off. China's Great Wall Motors brought HAVAL JOLION HEV to the spotlight. The new car has been officially launched with two models: the NEW SPORT version and the NEW Ultra version, with a market guide price of 790,000 baht to 999,000 baht. Built on the Great Wall Lemon platform, HAVAL JOLION HEV is equipped with a fuel-electric hybrid system composed of a 1.5T four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, and its combined fuel consumption is only 4.2L/100km.

In terms of the exterior, HAVAL JOLION HEV adopts a family design. It is equipped with a large air intake grille and matched with relatively long headlights on both sides and a large size trapezoidal air intake at the bottom, which creates a strong sense of sportiness.

The side of the car body is slender and smooth, with large-size multi-frame rims, it still emphasizes the sporty sense. In the rear of the car, the new car adopts a large-sized tail light group, combined with the built-in license plate area and the lower anti-scratch bumper, bringing some rugged SUV style.

In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the HAVAL JOLION HEV are 4472/1841/1619mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2700mm.

As for interior, the overall style of the HAVAL JOLION HEV is simple and fashionable. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch hanging control screen, a 7-inch liquid crystal instrument, and a HUD to create a three-screen interconnection system. It also supports entertainment, rest, navigation, weather forecasting, and other functions, and can be FOTA upgraded for the whole car.

In terms of power, the HAVAL JOLION HEV adopts the Lemon Hybrid DHT architecture, and is equipped with an oil-electric hybrid system composed of a 1.5T four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. Through the hybrid engine and dual motor hybrid cooperation, in the city operating conditions, the power system's overall efficiency can reach 43-50%, and the comprehensive fuel consumption is 4.2L/100km.
