【PCauto】Rolls-Royce has officially introduced the Spectre Black Badge model, representing the high-performance iteration of the Spectre. This new vehicle features bespoke enhancements in power and chassis tuning, providing an exceptional choice for consumers in pursuit of an unparalleled driving experience.

The most striking element of Spectre Black Badge is its novel "Misty Purple" color, which takes inspiration from the neon club culture of the 1980s and 1990s, exhibiting a mysterious and deep-chromatic shift under varying lighting conditions. Also, its illuminated grille—not only a hallmark of the brand—boasts a new backing design that allows for the selection among five colors: Custom Purple, Charles Blue, Chartreuse Green, Forged Yellow, and Turquoise. The combination of its Misty Purple body and the lighting effect produces a distinctive visual allure, which is further enhanced by the illuminated welcome tread plates.

The design of the new model prominently features dark elements throughout its details. The grille frame, inspired by the Parthenon, the Spirit of Ecstasy statue, and the double "R" honor badge all exhibit exclusive dark finishes. Dark tones also adorn the door handles, wide side window frames, and bumpers, fostering a robust sense of sportiness and intrigue. An innovative "Floating" waistline customization option introduces unique lines along the vehicle's side. The all-new 23-inch five-spoke forged aluminum wheels present both polished and all-black finishes, characterized by a complex geometric design and optionally equipped with winter tires to enhance performance across various driving conditions.

Upon entering the cabin, the ambient panel incorporates 5,500 "starlight" elements seamlessly integrated into a piano black finish, abstractly reflecting the Spirit of Ecstasy and the unique infinity symbol, establishing a romantic yet technologically advanced ambiance. The center console is expertly crafted from a weave of carbon fiber and metallic threads, layered over a black Bolivar wood panel, which possesses a rich texture attributable to hand polishing, harmonizing futuristic and classic elements.

The fully digital instrument panel presents five distinct color themes: Vital Gray-Yellow, Neon Nightfall, Flame Blue, Ultraviolet, and Synth-wave. These themes synchronize throughout the vehicle via the SPIRIT digital architecture, extending from the dashboard to the ambient lighting, thus creating an immersive visual experience. The infinity symbol is conspicuously featured in various locations within the car, such as the door sills and the embroidered leather "waterfall" on the rear seats, underscoring the unique identity of the Black Badge edition.

In terms of powertrain capabilities, Spectre Black Badge is outfitted with dual motors at both the front and rear, elevating the total maximum power to 485 kW (compared to 430 kW in the standard variant), translating to an impressive 659 horsepower. The total maximum torque reaches 1,075 N·m (in contrast to 900 N·m for the standard version), resulting in a reduced 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.3 seconds (down from 4.5 seconds).

The new model features two driving modes: Infinity Mode and Spirited Mode. By pressing the Infinity symbol "∞" button on the steering wheel, the vehicle unleashes its full power reserve of 659 hp, accompanied by a significantly more responsive throttle response, while the dashboard interface transitions to a sportier display. Activation of Spirited Mode is unique. The driver must simultaneously depress the brake and accelerator pedals fully. The vehicle then provides tactile and visual feedback, allowing the driver to release the brake pedal, facilitating a temporary torque boost to 1,075 N·m.

For chassis tuning, Spectre Black Badge incorporates enhanced steering damping, enabling drivers to receive clearer road feedback and improved handling precision during turns. Furthermore, the anti-roll settings have been recalibrated to effectively mitigate body roll, thereby enhancing the vehicle's stability while navigating corners. The Magic Carpet function has also undergone upgrades, optimizing damper damping to diminish pitch jolts during transit while ensuring robust driving performance and adhering to Rolls-Royce's commitment to ride comfort. This allows occupants to relish potent performance while experiencing a smooth and luxurious ride.

Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge edition distinctly differentiates itself from the standard version through its unique aesthetic, opulent and technologically advanced interior, potent dynamics, and meticulously refined chassis. It satisfies consumer demand for personalized, high-performance luxury electric vehicles, further solidifying Rolls-Royce's esteemed position within the apex of the luxury automotive sector.
