The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe power upgrade: Starts at 220 horsepower, 0 to 100 in 4.9 seconds

On October 16th, BMW officially released the official map of its compact car - the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe (F74). As a new generation model, it has undergone upgrades in appearance, interior, and power system, and plans to start production at its Leipzig factory in Germany later this year. It will be first launched in the United States in March of next year, followed by launches in Germany, the UK, Japan, and Australia.
Currently, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is sold domestically for RM 223,800, with a fuel consumption performance of 5.9L/100km and an acceleration time of 8.7s for 0-100 km/h.

In terms of power, the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 220 is equipped with a 1.5T three-cylinder petrol engine (including 48V mild hybrid), with a maximum output power of 125 kilowatts/170 horsepower and a peak torque of 280 Nm.
In terms of transmission, it matches a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 230km/h; the new M235 is equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder petrol engine, with a maximum output power of 221 kilowatts/300 horsepower and a peak torque of 400 Nm. Regarding the transmission, it matches with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Also, this model is equipped with xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, with 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 250km/h.
The new model uses a brand new "Vertical and Horizontal Grille," which is inspired by the BMW Vision Circular concept car. The grille is adorned with horizontal shiny black decorative strips inside, and is equipped with a split BMW ring light grille. At the same time, the new car is equipped with a new lower surround, having a large trapezoidal air intake, with aerodynamic channels on both sides.
As a replacement model, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe will have an integrated floating curved screen (10.25-inch instrument + 10.7-inch control) and built-in iDrive 9 system, and will also change to the latest flat-bottom steering wheel. The car has a new shift mechanism and a wireless charger, 12 Harmon/Kardon speakers, sports seats, seat heating, and the addition of front seat massage.
