GAC-AION Thai Intelligent Ecological Factory Completed, Second Generation AION V Synchronized Global Offline

On July 17, GAC-AION held the completion of the Thai Intelligent Ecological Factory and the global launch of the second generation AION V, which marks a new chapter in GAC-AION's globalization strategy, and the Thai Intelligent Ecological Factory is an important part of its global production network.

The first phase of the Thailand Intelligent Ecological Factory has an annual production capacity of 50,000 units, which will gradually be expanded to 100,000 units. It can achieve parallel production of various GAC-AION models such as the second generation AION V, AION Y Plus, and Haobao HT. This factory fully adopts the homologous technology of the world's only new energy lighthouse factory, realizes global leading in digitized, intelligent manufacturing, and provides more world-class products for global users with high-quality, high-efficiency intelligent production. It is worth mentioning that AION also chose the design of a lighthouse for its live broadcast poster to highlight its lighthouse factory's homologous technology.

The completion of the GAC-AION Thai Intelligent Ecological Factory is an important milestone in GAC-AION's globalization strategy. GAC Chairman Zeng Qinghong stated that GAC-AION will lay out in 68 countries and regions, five core markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Central and South America, and three overseas factories to achieve parallel vehicle exports and localized production.

GAC-AION Southeast Asia General Manager Ma Haiyang introduced that GAC-AION launched its Thailand strategy in June last year, launched its first product E'an Y Plus in August, and started construction of the Thailand factory in 2023. He revealed that new products will be imported and locally produced at the factory every year. The second-generation AION V is GAC-AION's first global strategic model that represents the latest technology and product strength of GAC-AION. The car has the three major advantages of ultra-long endurance, ultra-strong performance and super-smart experience, which will bring a more enjoyable travel experience for global users.

The completion of the GAC-AION's intelligent ecological factory in Thailand and the global offline synchronization of the second generation AION V signify a significant progress in the globalization strategy of GAC-AION.
