India's Force Gurkha Five-door Version Preview Image Released, Equipped with a 2.6L Diesel Engine

Indian car manufacturer Force Motors recently released preview images for the five-door version of the Force Gurkha. Previously, all versions of the Force Gurkha on sale adopted a three-door design, and the body size of the five-door model would significantly increase, making the wheelbase longer. The new vehicle's power system will be equipped with a 2.6L diesel engine from Mercedes. The new vehicle is expected to be released in the middle of 2024, with an estimated price of 1.61 million rupees (about 702,000 Thai baht).

It is known that the wheelbase of the five-door version of Force Gurkha is 2825mm, which is 425mm longer than the three-door version. The longer wheelbase provides more spacious interior space, with three seating arrangements of 5 seats, 6 seats, and 7 seats available, and users can choose different seating arrangements according to their actual needs. In terms of appearance, the five-door version maintains consistency with the three-door version, incorporating a boxy design similar to the Mercedes G-Class. The new car is also equipped with a wading tube, a roof rack, and a spare tire mounted on the back.

On the power side, the five-door Force Gurkha is built with a non-load-bearing body, and the power system is a 2.6L diesel engine from Mercedes. The maximum power is 67 kW and the peak torque is 250 N·m, and it is matched with a 5-speed manual gearbox and front and rear axle differential locks.
