In the luxury SUV market, the BMW X4 has always been loved by consumers for its unique design and excellent performance. Unlike the regular X3 and X5, the following will introduce you to the specific configuration of the X4.

The 2022 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport is priced at RM 394,800 in Malaysia.

Power

2022 BMW X4 continues to carry the same B48 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine as the X3 xDrive30i M Sport.

This engine can output 252 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, and the power is delivered to the xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Thanks to this powerful power combination, the X4's 0-100 km/h acceleration time is only 6.6 seconds, and the maximum speed can reach 235 km/h.

Exterior Design

The 2022 BMW X4 has undergone a moderate upgrade in exterior design. The front grille has been slightly enlarged, the LED headlights have become thinner, and a new light signature design has been adopted.

The rear section has added a vertical reflector, and a new insert decoration has been added to the rear bumper.

In addition, the X4 is also equipped with adaptive LED headlights, LED taillights, M sports exterior kits and 20-inch M light alloy wheels. The exhaust port also adopts a new free-form design.

In terms of exterior color, BMW offers four choices for X4: Alpine White, Piemont Red, Carbon Black, and Phytonic Blue.

Interior

In terms of interior, the upgrade of X4 is more significant. The center console and dashboard design of the new model draws on the style of G20 BMW 3 Series, making it look more modern and full of technology.

The standard 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system uses BMW operating system 7.0 and supports OTA remote software updates.

The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster (BMW Live Cockpit Professional) provides clear information display and rich features.

Other interior highlights include:

- BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant

- Sport seats, with black or Tacora Red Vernasca leather interior decoration

Safety and Driving Assistance

For driving assistance systems, the 2022 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport is equipped with a comprehensive suite of driving assistance, including Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention (AEB), Parking Assistance, and Reversing Assistance system.

Highlighted Configuration

- Adaptive suspension system: It provides better driving comfort and handling performance.

- 20-inch M light alloy wheels: It enhances the sporty appearance of the vehicle.

- Panoramic sunroof: Provide better interior lighting and view.

- Wireless phone charging: Convenient in-car charging experience.

Conclusion

The 2022 BMW X4 is undoubtedly an ideal choice for consumers who pursue fashion and performance. Whether it's dynamic exterior design, powerful power configuration, rich interior decoration, or advanced driving assistance system, X4 shows BMW's consistent high quality and innovation. In the Malaysian market, the launch of X4 not only enriches the product line of BMW but also provides more choices for consumers.
