The 2022 BMW iX xDrive40 Sport is imported as a completely built unit (CBU) from Germany with a price of RM 425,800.

Power System

It is equipped with a dual motor all-wheel drive, battery capacity is 76.6 kWh, power output is 326 PS, torque is 630 N·m, and acceleration from 0-100 Km/h is 5.9 seconds (tested). In terms of charging, it supports 11 kW AC, 150 kW DC, and CCS2.

Power Consumption

During a mixed city and highway driving range of 195.0 kilometers, the onboard computer displayed an average power consumption of 17.0 kWh / 100 km, which was actually calculated to be 18.6 kWh / 100 km. Theoretically, the battery of 76.6 kWh can achieve a maximum range of approximately 411 km in actual use, close to the declared 425 km.

Interior Equipment

The interior marks the beginning of a new generation of BMW interiors, being the first to incorporate the BMW Operating System 8 (OS 8) and a curved display screen, which includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. Operations are virtually lag-free, the number of buttons and switches has been reduced, and climate control is adjusted via the screen. Volume control is in the form of a scroll wheel, and the interior has crystal elements. The steering wheel has a unique 2-spoke hexagon design, seats are highly adjustable, cabin space is ample, window line is low, providing good visibility, but some plastic materials are not high-grade.
