According to the latest news, the 2024 Honda HR-V facelift model was showcased to Thai media. Following its debut in Japan in March, Thailand will be the first market in Southeast Asia to launch this new SUV. The Honda brand also announced an estimated price for the HR-V on the eve of the Thailand Auto Show, and the car will officially go on sale in November. Three e:HEV hybrid versions will be launched, respectively:
HR-V e:HEV E – THB 89X,000 (~RM 113k)
HR-V e:HEV EL – THB 1,0XX,000 (~RM 127k)
HR-V e:HEV RS – THB 1,1XX,000 (~RM 140k)

The Honda HR-V showcases a youthful and individualistic style in its appearance. The head design is full and sporty, complementing the exquisite front headlights and LED daylight running lights, adding rich detail. The hybrid version adopts a simple electric vehicle-style front-face design. Meanwhile, the RS version has a uniquely redesigned front grille, adorned with chrome decor and red RS badges.

In terms of the interior, the Honda HR-V is dominated by minimalist designs, equipped with a touchscreen LCD screen to create a sense of technology. The seats are made of mixed leather and fabric, providing good riding comfort. The noticeable change is an upgraded 8-inch infotainment touchscreen that now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The center console has been redesigned with a new layout and now features an upper and lower tray storage compartment. However, the overall interior layout and ergonomic design are essentially the same as the pre-facelift model.
For the power section, the i-MMD hybrid system is retained. It is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle i-VTEC gasoline engine (106 hp/127 Nm), coupled with two electric motors (131 hp/253 Nm).
The revamped Honda HR-V model has made significant adjustments in terms of exterior design details, interior features, and price, further enhancing the competitiveness of the new car. In Malaysia, the power system of Honda HR-V is different from Thailand. The locally assembled CKD Honda HR-V offers three engine choices, including 1.5L NA, 1.5L Turbo and 1.5L e:HEV. There are four models in total:
2022 Honda HR-V 1.5 S RM 115,900
2022 Honda HR-V 1.5 Turbo E RM 130,900
2022 Honda HR-V 1.5 Turbo V RM 135,900
2022 Honda HR-V RS e:HEV RM 141,900
