Australian auto market data in July: Toyota RAV4 sales won the first place, PHEV models increased by

According to the latest data released by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) in Australia in July, the Australian automotive market continues to increase. The new car sales reached 99,486 units in July, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year. For the first seven months of the year, cumulative sales have exceeded 730,000 units to reach 731,898 units, an increase of 7.9% year-on-year.
CEO of FCAI, Tony Weber, stated, "The Australian automobile market is consistent with many overseas market trends. Compared with July 2023, the sales of hybrid vehicles have increased by 88.4%, and the sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles have increased by 128.9%. Including Tesla and Polestar, the sales of pure electric vehicles currently account for 6.6% of the market share, which is lower than 7.0% in 2023."

1st place: Toyota RAV4, sales volume 5,933 (increased by 116%)
2nd place: Ford Ranger, sales volume 4,915 (increased by 9%)
3rd place: Toyota HiLux, sales volume 4,747 (decreased by 14%)
4th place: Toyota Corolla, sales volume 2,688 (increased by 25%)
5th place: Isuzu D-Max, sales volume 2,369 (increased by 26%)
6th place: Ford Everest, sales volume 2,162 (increased by 68%)
7th place: Mitsubishi Outlander, sales volume 2,110 (increased by 19%)
8th place: Mazda CX-5, sales volume 2,031 (increased by 26%)
9th place: MG ZS, sales volume 1,815 (decreased by 53%)
10th place: Toyota Kluger, sales volume 1,705 (increased by 30%)
Top ten car brand sales in July:
1st place: Toyota sales 22,705 (up 18%)
2nd place: Mazda sales 8,476 (up 2%)
3rd place: Ford sales 7,749 (up 9%)
4th place: Kia sales 6,620 (up 8%)
5th place: Hyundai sales 6,021 (down 8%)
6th place: Mitsubishi sales 5,718 (up 38%)
7th place: MG sales 4,101 (down 23%)
8th place: Isuzu sales 3,821 (up 14%)
