Bangkok Motor Show 2024: 2024 Model Honda City adds 1.0 Turbo S model, priced at 599000 Thai Baht

On the eve of the 45th Bangkok Auto Show, the 2024 Honda City model was launched, and notably, a new entry-level model was added, the Honda City 1.0 Turbo S. This model is a re-launch as a version of the City which was previously launched. This addition brings the total number of City models to four, with a price range of 599,000-749,000 Baht. The Honda City is also on display at the auto show.
Honda City official guide prices:
-1.0 Turbo S: 599,000 Baht
-1.0 Turbo V: 629,000 Baht
-1.0 Turbo SV: 679,000 Baht
-1.0 Turbo RS: 749,000 Baht

In terms of exterior, the 1.0 Turbo S model is somewhat simplified, with fewer body details, but the overall change is not significant. The wheel hubs are made of steel, 15 inches, and the body size is the same for all models, except for minor differences due to the RS model adding a sports appearance kit. The body length is 4580-4589mm, width 1748mm, height 1467-1480mm, and wheelbase is 2589mm. The minimum ground clearance of the body is 134-147mm.




In terms of interior design, the re-released 1.0 Turbo S uses a 4.2-inch color TFT display in the middle of the dashboard. In addition, obvious adjustments have been made in terms of configuration, and even the entry-level models are also equipped with Honda SENSING and automatic headlight functions.



In terms of power, the Honda City is equipped with a 1.0T three-cylinder engine, with an engine compression power of 10:1 and a VTEC variable valve system. The engine has a maximum power of 122PS and a peak torque of 173N·m, with a corresponding speed range of 2000-4500rpm. In addition, the gearbox uses CVT continuously variable transmission.
