BMW's sales for the first three months of this year are out, with a year-on-year increase of over 27.9% for pure electric models

According to reports, on April 10, BMW Group officially announced the latest situation of global market sales. This sales data includes the overall sales performance from January to March 2024, and the data covers BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce.

From the data, in the first three months of this year, BMW Group's global sales were 594,671 units, an increase of 1.1% year-on-year. Notably, the sales of pure electric vehicles under the BMW Group have significantly increased, with sales of 82,700 units in the first three months, a year-on-year increase of more than 27.9%. Meanwhile, in March of this year, the cumulative global sales of BMW Group's pure electric vehicles exceeded 1 million units.

Looking specifically at the brand, BMW's global sales in the first three months of this year were 531,039 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.5%. The sales of BMW's pure electric vehicles reached 78,691 units, a year-on-year increase of 40.6%. In addition, the M series models accounted for 48,110 units of sales, up 3.6% year on year.

MINI's global sales in the first three months of this year were 62,107 units. It is worth noting that at the Beijing Auto Show that will open on April 25 this year, MINI Aceman will make its global debut. This is a pure electric vehicle. Among the models currently on sale, the MINI Countryman already has an electric model.

Rolls-Royce delivered 1525 units globally in the first three months of this year, a decrease of 7% year-on-year.
