Chinese new energy vehicle company secures 300 million yuan order, product is surprisingly not a car!

Recently, Xiaopeng Huitian, a subsidiary of Chinese new energy vehicle company Xpeng, announced the successful signing of a pre-order contract for the first mass-produced flying car, "Land Aircraft Carrier". The pre-ordering parties are Gaozhi Aviation and Acheng Aviation. These two companies plan to provide experience services for flying car products in Zhejiang Province in the future. It is reported that the price of the Land Aircraft Carrier will not exceed 2 million yuan, and the total amount of this order is close to 300 million yuan.

The highly anticipated flying car, the "Land Aircraft Carrier," features a unique 3-axis 6-wheel design and bears a strong resemblance to the Tesla Cybertruck in terms of appearance. Its dimensions are impressive, measuring 5500mm in length, 2000mm in width, and 2000mm in height. There are four seats in the car, which can be easily driven by a driver with a Class C license.

On the power side, the Land Aircraft Carrier is equipped with the first 800V silicon carbide range extender power platform, allowing its CLTC endurance mileage to exceed 1000 kilometers. In addition, it also features a 6x6 all-wheel-drive system and rear-wheel steering function, enabling more outstanding load capacity and off-road performance.

The Land Aircraft Carrier is equipped with a flying device, located in the trunk of the vehicle, which can not only be charged inside the cabin but also has a very high charging efficiency, taking only 18 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%. Under full fuel and full power status, the flying device can support 5-6 flights. The design inspiration for the flying device comes from drones, with a four-propeller design, and the cabin can accommodate 2 people. Notably, this flying device also has the function of one-key automatic take-off and landing, as well as automatic navigation. Users can get started with operations in just 5 minutes.

In regards to the signing of this order, Xiaopeng Huitian's founder, Zhao Deli, said that the low-altitude economy is booming this year, and Xiaopeng Huitian, as the largest flying car company in Asia, is steadily moving forward along a preset development strategy. This strategy was vividly described by Zhao Deli as "three steps": the first step is to enable users to fly in the wild; the second step is to achieve inter-city flights; and the third step is to promote free-flying for all people.

The successful signing of the contract for the land-based aircraft carrier has strongly refuted many netizens who doubted Xpeng. After all, Xpeng had been heavily criticized for its heavy investment in flying cars and even accused of neglecting its main business. Now, with a 300 million yuan order, this will not only accelerate Xpeng's pace in the field of flying cars, but also may bring about the day when everyone can fly a plane.
