Limited to 99 units! Honda City SE Special Edition goes on sale, accused of clearing inventory?

Honda Malaysia (HM) has announced the launch of the Honda City SE special edition, built on the trendy Honda City V model. The Honda City SE comes with the Modulo kit, limited to 99 units, and the on-the-road price excluding insurance is RM95,200. The Honda City is offered in five versions in the Malaysian market, with prices ranging from RM84,900 to RM111,900, and fuel consumption from 3.6 to 5.6L/100km.

The mechanical system of the car remains unchanged, and the 1.5-liter aspirated inline-four-cylinder DOHC i-VTEC engine of the City SE continues to deliver 121 PS (119 hp or 89 kW) at 6,600 rpm, and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm, transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT.
The biggest highlights of the Honda City SE include Modulo front and side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a special edition (SE) badge to differentiate it from other models. A front digital video recorder (DVR) is installed to improve safety and convenience, and footwell lighting has been added to enhance the interior. In addition, the Honda City SE also comes with side step garnishes (front and rear) marked with the word "City", and the front steps also feature lighting. For practicality, there is an additional tray in the trunk.

The dimensions of the Honda City SE are 4,580 mm in length, 1,748 mm in width, and 1,467 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm and a trunk capacity of 519 liters. The vehicle's curb weight varies with different models, for example, the V model is 1,136 kg, and the RS e: HEV model is 1,250 kg.
