Tesla Model 3 Performance Makes Its Debut in Malaysia: Over 100 New Cars Delivered

Tesla has begun delivering the much-anticipated Model 3 Performance vehicles in Malaysia. Over 100 units were delivered to customers in just Saturday and Sunday alone. Customers picked up their Model 3 at the Tesla Experience Center, with more deliveries planned for the future.
The Model 3 Performance, based on the best-selling electric sedan Model 3 worldwide, has been upgraded in terms of interior and exterior design to unleash impressive power. The car retails for RM242,000, with a 0-100 acceleration of just 3.1 seconds, and a maximum battery range of 528 kilometers (WLTP), making the driving experience even more superior.
The Model 3 Performance is designed for ultimate track performance. It is equipped with new front seats with Performance branding, a new and larger rear spoiler and a new adaptive suspension system, which aims to enhance the overall driving experience. To differentiate from other existing Model 3 models, its exterior design incorporates iconic red brake calipers and a rear bumper marked with Performance branding.

Currently, Tesla has 11 Supercharger Stations with a total of 52 Supercharger Posts in Malaysia. Together with 11 Destination Charging Stations, the total number of charging stations is 57. Additionally, Tesla is continuously expanding its charging network to facilitate travel between Malaysia and Singapore. The company stated, "Tesla is committed to improving the charging infrastructure in Malaysia to meet the growing charging demand."
