It is reported that Audi RS 6 Sportback e-tron will be released at the end of summer 2025. This car is positioned as a pure electric high-performance three-box sedan, with a maximum power expected to exceed 700 horsepower. In addition, the car will also launch a travel version in the future, which will be available in U.S. showrooms in the middle of next year.

From the exposed spy photos, the front face design of Audi RS 6 Sportback e-tron is highly aggressive. The divided headlight group is unique, with the top LED daytime running lights adopting a matrix light source. The lower high and low beam lights match the closed front grille, and the inverted trapezoidal air vents in the lower surround are paired with triangular air ducts on both sides, not only optimizing aerodynamics but also highlighting the sports genes of the RS model.
On the side of the body, Audi RS 6 Sportback e-tron continues the Audi family's classic fastback shape, with dynamic lines outlining the elegant posture of the sedan SUV. The smoky multi-spoke wheel rims enhance the visual effect, and the addition of a spoiler at the rear further enhances the sporty feel of the vehicle. The through-type taillight design widens the visual width of the rear. The appearance of the diffuser profile suggests that the new car will have better aerodynamics and stronger handling stability.

Audi RS 6 Sportback e-tron is based on Volkswagen's PPE platform, so it should share the standard model's 800 V system and 100 KWh battery. But considering that the A6 E-Tron already offers up to 496 horsepower (which can be briefly extended to 543 horsepower) under the S6 E-Tron appearance, the RS 6 E-Tron should be able to offer more than 700 horsepower.
