【PCauto】Audi is set to unveil a fully electric sports car concept at the 2025 IAA Mobility show in Munich on September 3. Internally codenamed TT Moment 2.0, the concept is widely regarded in the industry as the next evolution of the Audi e-tron GT Coupe.

Audi's New EV Sports Concept Set to Debut with Sleek Tech Aesthetics
Audi will unveil a fully electric sports car concept at IAA Mobility 2025 on September 3. Internally dubbed TT Moment 2.0, it is widely referred to as the Audi e-tron GT Coupe.
The new concept adopts Audi’s latest Sphere design language and targets the high-performance two-door EV segment. A production model is scheduled for 2027.
It features a sealed hexagonal grille, illuminated four-ring logo, and a dynamic lighting interface.
The B-pillarless, rear-hinged doors draw inspiration from the Grandsphere concept.
Inside, it embraces an immersive digital cockpit with an AR head-up display and a retractable steering wheel.
Performance targets include 0–100 km/h acceleration under 3 seconds and over 600 km of WLTP range.
Audi Confirms Production Timeline for New EV
Audi CEO Markus Duesmann has officially confirmed the production plan for the new model. During the Q2 2025 financial briefing, he announced that production will begin in 2027, with first deliveries expected by the end of that year.
The production vehicle will be built on the Volkswagen Group’s upgraded PPE platform, sharing an 800V high-voltage system with the upcoming all-electric Porsche 718. It supports 270kW ultra-fast charging, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in just 18 minutes.
With this technical edge, the new EV will be positioned to compete directly with Tesla’s next-generation Roadster, the Porsche Mission X, and the Mercedes-AMG electric SL-Class.

Solid-State Battery Becomes Core Highlight of New Audi EV
The production model is expected to adopt a next-generation solid-state battery jointly developed by Audi and Samsung SDI, with energy density exceeding 400Wh/kg. However, according to a technical briefing from the Volkswagen Group, early production units may still rely on a high-nickel ternary lithium battery solution.
On the autonomous driving front, the vehicle will come equipped with Audi AI Drive Pilot as standard. It supports Level 3 conditional automation, subject to regulatory approval, and includes hardware provisions for future Level 4 capability. This system is designed to greatly enhance long-distance comfort and safety.

According to German media, the new car’s starting price is expected to be around 120,000 euros (about 586,000 Malaysian Ringgit), targeting the high-end electric sports car market.
The launch marks a new phase in Audi’s electrification strategy. With the Munich Auto Show approaching, more technical details will be unveiled in September, especially on the progress of solid-state battery use and the final performance figures. Whether Audi can outperform competitors like Tesla in the electric sports car segment has become a key focus for the global automotive industry.

The launch of Perodua Traz indicates that the market size of small SUVs in Malaysia has been expanding in recent years. However, the question naturally shifts back to Toyota. Perodua Traz VS Toyota Yaris Cross, where does the Traz fall short?
Before the official launch of the Perodua Traz, market expectations were actually very high because it shares the same DNGA platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross. However, sharing the same platform does not equate to the same experience, and the Traz's final performance has indeed been disappointing. Perhaps it is precisely because of the delayed launch that it has almost no competitiveness in the current competitive environment.
