LienApr 25, 2024, 02:58 PM
On April 25, the 2024 Beijing Auto Show officially kicked off. With Ford unveiling the all-new Ford Mustang convertible on its stand, it marks Ford's first introduction of the Mustang convertible version to the Chinese market. And it is reported that the car will officially go on sale in China in June this year.

The all-new Ford Mustang convertible continues the classic styling and muscular feel that has been inherited for 60 years. At the same time, the car's edges are sharper. Low and horizontal lines traverse the front of the car, and the air intake grille shape echoes the style of the first-generation Ford Mustang.
The classic style is also reflected in the streamlined rooflines proportional to the original Mustang, the wide body posture, and the short rear overhang design. At the same time, the wider rear waistline highlights the Mustang's powerful power. The iconic three-column taillights showcase the "Pony Car" lineage of the Ford Mustang to this day.

The all-new Ford Mustang convertible features a full inner lining insulated multilayer fabric roof. With simple central lock operation with a single handle, it enables one-button opening and closing, and supports opening and closing at speeds less than 5 km/h. The compact roof design, combined with an independent rear suspension system, enhances the performance of the trunk space.
It is worth mentioning is that the all-new Ford Mustang convertible has specially upgraded the GT performance appearance package after entering the Chinese market, including a larger, more aggressive intake grille, 19-inch wheels, and active four-exit exhaust.
The appearance color offers 3 colors: Phantom Red, Sliding Blue, and Sunlight Yellow. In terms of interior color matching, there are two schemes: Sub-Zero Gray and Rum Red.

About the interior, the all-new Ford Mustang convertible adopts a driver-centered immersive intelligent driving cockpit, with design inspiration drawn from the cockpit of a fighter jet. The 12.4-inch digital instrument panel and 13.2-inch touch joint screen can customize the display content according to the driver's habits. The newly designed flat-bottomed steering wheel inspired by racing, also makes the car more performance-based.

In terms of power, the all-new Ford Mustang convertible is equipped with a 2.3T EcoBoost turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 299 horsepower (220 kilowatts), and a peak torque of 453 N·m. The transmission system matches the Ford SelectShift 10-speed manual-automatic gearbox.
