2024 Porsche Taycan officially released, prices start from RM 575,000

Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), has officially launched the 2024 Porsche Taycan. The facelift model not only has improved power and range but also stability and charging speed, with slight adjustments made to the exterior styling. The new Taycan is now available for pre-order, with prices starting from RM 575,000.

Model and Price
The 2024 Porsche Taycan is available in two body styles: Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo, with the following prices:
Taycan sedan
- Taycan: RM 575,000
- Taycan 4S: RM 675,000
- Taycan Turbo: RM 905,000
- Taycan Turbo S: RM 1,060,000
- Taycan Turbo GT: RM 1,600,000
Taycan Cross Turismo
- Taycan Cross Turismo: RM 625,000
- Taycan 4S Cross Turismo: RM 700,000
- Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo: RM 915,000

Power and Performance
The new Taycan series has seen significant improvements in power, with power output for each model as follows:
- Taycan: 408 PS
- Taycan 4S: 544 PS (598 PS when using Performance Battery Plus)
- Taycan Turbo: 884 PS
- Taycan Turbo S: 952 PS (with Launch Control)
- Taycan Turbo GT: 1,108 PS/1,340 Nm, 0-100 km/h acceleration time is only 2.3 seconds
Battery and Range
The new Taycan is equipped with a Performance Battery Plus which has a larger capacity, total capacity up to 105 kWh, significantly higher than the previous 93 kWh. According to WLTP standards, the basic Taycan's endurance mileage can reach 678 km.

All models support 800-volt DC fast charging, with charging power increased to 320 kW, capable of charging the power from 10% to 80% within 18 minutes. The on-board charger supports up to 11 kW AC charging.
The 2024 Taycan has also been updated in terms of exterior design. The headlights and tail lights adopt high-definition matrix technology, with a unique quad-graphic design. The brand logo uses a 3D glass exterior design, with an optional illuminated version offered.

In terms of interior, the 2024 Taycan has also made multiple improvements. The new infotainment touch screen, digital air conditioning control unit, and a richer user interface provide the driver with a better operating experience.

All updated Taycan models come standard with adaptive air suspension, along with an option for Porsche Active Ride Suspension that is exclusive to all-wheel-drive models. In terms of interior details, it offers a range of standard features including ambient lights, reverse camera support system, electric folding rearview mirrors with lights, heated front seats, Porsche Intelligent Range Management System (PIRM), a new heat pump cooling system, driving mode switch, and enhanced electric power steering.
In terms of user experience, the 2024 Taycan has added many useful features, including deep integration of Apple CarPlay and in-car video playback capability. The user interfaces of the dashboard, central display, and passenger display screens have been optimized.
Taycan models also offer specific options such as 20-inch wheels, 14-way electric memory seats, and BOSE® surround sound system. In addition, Porsche Malaysia offers exclusive Shell Recharge Platinum membership for Taycan owners, enjoying discounts and benefits at specific charging stations, including free 350 kW charging service at all Porsche centers.

The all-new 2024 Porsche Taycan sets the benchmark for electric sports cars again with its strong power, excellent endurance performance, and advanced charging technology.
