【PCauto】In just three days after its launch, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra received over 10,000 orders. Reflecting on Xiaomi Auto’s evolution in the Chinese market, Xiaomi SU7 has been creating sales miracles since its debut.
In the first full month following its March 2024 release, Xiaomi SU7 sales exceeded 15,000 units, quickly propelling it to the top of the new energy sedan sales charts. To date, its cumulative sales have effortlessly surpassed 100,000 units, making it the star model of its segment.

As the high-performance and advanced version, SU7 Ultra has taken Xiaomi Auto’s technological prowess and performance to a whole new level. In terms of power performance, SU7 Ultra is equipped with a super triple-motor system that delivers a combined output of 1,548 horsepower. Such massive power enables it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds (excluding launch time), easily outperforming many supercars, such as Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, which is priced at RM1,160,000 and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds. With a top speed of 350 km/h, SU7 Ultra becomes the world’s first four-door mass-production car to break this speed barrier.

The chassis of SU7 Ultra has been rigorously tuned on the Nürburgring circuit and is complemented by a carbon fiber body kit, generating up to 285 kilograms of downforce at high speeds to ensure exceptional stability and handling during rapid cornering and straight-line driving. Its braking system, featuring a combination of 430mm front carbon-ceramic brake discs and six-piston Akebono calipers, achieves a stopping distance from 100 km/h in just 30.8 meters. Moreover, after undergoing 10 consecutive emergency braking tests, no noticeable degradation was observed, giving drivers robust and consistent braking performance.

The battery performance is equally impressive. SU7 Ultra employs the CATL Qilin Battery II, which supports a 16C peak discharge. Even when the battery charge drops to 20%, it can still stably deliver 800kW of power, ensuring that the vehicle maintains persistent and reliable performance under high-intensity driving.
It is also worth noting that Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype put on a stellar performance at the Nürburgring Circuit. Driven by David Pittard, the prototype charged through the circuit to record an officially certified lap time of 6 minutes and 46.874 seconds, securing fourth place in the “Prototype/Pre-production” category and crowning it as Nürburgring’s fastest four-door car. During the lap, supported by 2023 Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance champion driver and his extraordinary driving skills, the car hit a top speed of 324 km/h on the latter part of the straight, showcasing its formidable track prowess.

Furthermore, Xiaomi Auto has unveiled its global strategic plan. As Xiaomi President Lu Weibing revealed during the 2025 Mobile World Congress in Spain, Xiaomi plans to officially launch global car sales in 2027, which means that high-performance models like Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will soon have the opportunity to shine on the world stage.
