[PCauto] The all-new Ford Ranger WildTrak 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel officially debuted in the Malaysian market on August 23, 2025. This highly anticipated pickup truck was unveiled by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford (SDAC-Ford) at Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur.
This model, with its outstanding performance parameters and comprehensive configuration upgrades, has become the most powerful version in the Ranger lineup.

The powertrain is the core highlight of this new vehicle
The 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine delivers a maximum output of 250PS and a peak torque of 600Nm, making it the most powerful diesel pickup truck currently in the Malaysian market.
Matched with the engine is a 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel drive system. It offers six driving modes, including Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand, ensuring excellent performance under various road conditions.

The new vehicle's exterior continues the rugged style of the WildTrak series
The model is equipped with class-leading Matrix LED headlamps, iconic C-shaped daytime running lights, and brand-new 20-inch alloy wheels.
In addition, the Ford Ranger WildTrak highlights its unique identity through detail upgrades. The V6 exclusive badge on the front fender and the electrically adjustable mirrors with puddle lamps further enhance the model's recognizability.
Ford Ranger WildTrak 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel is available in four body colors, including Arctic White, Absolute Black, Luxe Yellow, and Meteor Grey.

The interior combines a design philosophy of technology and practicality
The 12-inch SYNC® 4A infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the 8-inch TFT multifunctional display ensures drivers can easily access critical driving data.
Features such as wireless charging, a dedicated USB port on the windshield for dashcams, and 230V/400W power outlets in both the second row and the cargo area reflect the model’s focus on practicality.

In terms of safety features, the new vehicle comes equipped with a full suite of driver assistance systems, including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go functionality, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Post-Collision Braking System.
Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with 7 airbags as well as segment-first features like Reverse Brake Assist and Evasive Steer Assist.
The price of the Ford Ranger WildTrak
The Ford Ranger WildTrak 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel has a starting price of RM192,888 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM198,688 in Sabah and Sarawak.
This pricing positions it directly against competitors such as the Toyota Hilux GR Sport and Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme.
It is worth mentioning that early buyers can enjoy benefits such as a two-year extended service package, a limited edition cooler bag, and an exclusive Ford camping chair.

According to the official plan, the new vehicle will begin delivery to customers in September 2025 and come with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
The launch of this new vehicle not only enriches Ford's product lineup in Malaysia but also provides local consumers with more diverse high-end pickup truck options.
With the continuous growth of the pickup truck market in Southeast Asia, the market performance of the Ford Ranger WildTrak 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel is worth anticipating.
