The Thailand Motor Expo 2024 will be held from November 29 to December 10, 2024, with many car brands showcasing their latest models. Among the exhibitors, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD is drawing significant attention. During the event, BYD will be joined by DENZA at booth A06, and it is expected that the BYD M6 will be featured at the exhibition. This article will also discuss this model.

The BYD M6 was officially launched in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 9, 2024. Two versions of the vehicle are available, with prices ranging from THB 829,900 to THB 929,900. This model marks BYD's first MPV export. In July of this year, BYD's factory in Thailand was completed and went into production, providing a solid manufacturing base for the M6's launch in Thailand. Currently, BYD has sold over 50,000 new energy vehicles in Thailand and has 117 sales outlets.

The BYD M6 has body dimensions of 4710/1810/1690mm, with a wheelbase of 2800mm. The headlights incorporate dragon scale details, and the front bumper has air intakes at both ends, giving it a design more suited to the MPV category.
The BYD M6 offers both pure electric and hybrid powertrain options. The 2024 BYD M6 is equipped with a front-mounted electric motor, providing a maximum output of 150 kW (approximately 201 horsepower) and a top speed of 160 km/h. It is equipped with a 72.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which allows for a maximum range of up to 420 kilometers (based on NEDC conditions).
