CHANGAN's cumulative sales in the first half of the year increased by 9.7% year-on-year, setting a new high in 7 years!

Recently, CHANGAN announced sales data for the first half of 2024. During this period, the group's total sales exceeded 1.334 million units, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%, which sets a new seven-year high. Among these, sales of CHANGAN's China-made passenger vehicles reached 821,000 units, an increase of 7.0% year-on-year; sales of self-owned brand electrified vehicles reached 299,000 units, a growth of 69.9% year-on-year; overseas sales of self-owned brands reached 203,000 units, up 74.8% year on year.

For the sales performance in the first half of the year, Wang Jun, the president of CHANGAN, gave a positive recognition and said: "In changing times, achieving such results that exceeds the industry average is worth encouraging." And he remains optimistic about the future development of the auto industry: "China's auto industry will surely have a good development."

In terms of overseas markets, since the launch of the "Haina Baichuan" plan in April 2023, after 14 months of planning and development, CHANGAN has not only made significant breakthroughs in the Southeast Asian market, but also emerged in the Middle East.
