Honda has launched a pure electric sedan in China, with a pure electric range of 520km!

Recently, Honda and China's Dongfeng Automobile have taken a step further in their cooperation in the field of new energy vehicles, launching their brand new pure electric medium-to-large car --- Lingxi L. This model was officially launched on September 26th with an official guide price of RM 76383. The price is not expensive, but this car has a very strong competitor in the Chinese market, and it is very difficult to stand out.
Appearance: Polyhedron Design Concept

From the perspective of exterior design, Lingxi L adopts a polyhedral design concept that incorporates a large number of triangular elements, giving the body a noticeable angularity. In the front face, the vehicle uses a closed design, officially called the "three-wing front face," which is common in new energy models, but its style is unique. The two-tone body paint and the black trim on the side further enhance the vehicle's distinctiveness.

The rear lines are straight, the taillight design is unique, and it is easily recognizable, while the small duck-tail style of the trunk lid edge and the diffuser-style rear enclosure add a sporty touch.
Interior: Five-Screen Design, Full of Technology

Entering the car, the interior design of the Lingxi L is also eye-catching. The vehicle is equipped with a full-scale five-screen design, which has been preserved in production models, including an all-digital instrument panel, a center control screen, a co-pilot entertainment screen, and two end screens for the electronic rearview mirror. Although there is a wide black edge between the instrument and the center control screen, the overall visual effect is still consistent and full of technological sense. Also, the car is equipped with a HUD head-up display system that can display real-time speed, navigation, and traffic signs, which improves the convenience and safety of driving.
Power: Pure electric endurance 520km!

In terms of power, the Lingxi L is equipped with a drive motor produced by Zhixin Technology Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 160kW. The vehicle is equipped with a 59.22kWh battery pack, which can reach a range of 520 kilometers under CLTC conditions. Although this data is average in the current market, it can still meet the daily travel needs of most consumers.
Summary
Dongfeng Honda Lingxi L, as a pure electric medium and large-sized vehicle, in terms of exterior design, interior configuration, degree of intelligence, and power performance, is a great breakthrough for Honda itself. However, in the Chinese new energy vehicle market, this model lacks enough highlights to impress consumers, such as BYD sedans and Xpeng MONA 3 of the same price range, which are more in line with market needs and outstanding in sales and popularity.
In the future, it will be very difficult for Dongfeng Honda Lingxi L to stand out. Japanese cars similar in positioning and style, like TOYOTA bZ3, can only be sold at rock-bottom prices in the online car-hailing market.
