In the latest declaration diagram, we see the new Golf and the new Golf GTI. As mid-cycle upgrades, these two new vehicles will optimize the appearance, interior and other parts. It is reported that they will be launched in China within 2024. And the new Golf GTI continues to be equipped with a 2.0T engine, with a maximum horsepower of 162kW.

The new Golf series is equipped with angular headlights and a transverse LED daytime running light set. Different versions of the lower enclosure, the normal version adopts a horizontal three-bar design, and the R-Line adopts a diamond-shaped grid heat dissipation opening design, while the GTI version adopts the classic honeycomb grid design and is equipped with a five-point LED light set on both sides. Lastly, black treatment is applied to the exterior rearview mirror.

In terms of vehicle size, the new car's length, width, and height are 4289/1788/1648mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2631mm. The new Golf GTI will be equipped with 18-inch petal-shaped rims and red brake calipers. And the R-Line version features a five-spoke two-tone wheel hub.

The taillights of new Golf series use a blacked-out design, which resonates with the front headlights. And the standard and R-Line versions use hidden exhausts and rear diffuser decorative panels, while the GTI version has a bilateral exhaust layouts and the "GTI" logo in the middle of the tailgate to indicate the new car's identity.

Finally, in terms of power, the regular Golf models will be equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 118kW. And the GTI version will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 162kW.
