Oil prices rise, BHPetrol enters the peninsula villages, ten new gas stations settled in eight regions!

Recently, BHPetrol and the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) signed a memorandum of understanding to build petrol stations in various rural areas of the Peninsula to promote local economic development. This cooperation was jointly signed by BHPetrol and eight departments including the Kedah Regional Development Authority (KEDA), the South Kedah Development Authority (Kesedar), with Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and Defense Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, witnessing this important moment.

In his speech, Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as Minister of Rural and Regional Development, said that BHPetrol will invest RM 45 million, and has currently confirmed to build 10 petrol stations in eight locations and is considering adding two new locations. The confirmed new petrol station locations include Kampung Awah in Temerloh, Pahang, Sri Gading in Batu Pahat, Johor, and Bandar Penawar, as well as Taman Kesedar Putra 2, Bukit Tumbi and Jeli in Kelantan, and Kubang Menerong in Penang.

Currently, domestic fuel prices are generally rising steadily, especially the recent government-reduced subsidy on diesel prices, reaching a new high of RM 3.95, the price of ron95 remains unchanged at RM 2.05, the price of ron97 is fluctuating, currently is RM 3.19.
