Porsche Cayenne Fourth Generation: Your next sports car might be an SUV!
AshleyJul 26, 2024, 11:49 AM
Recently, Porsche announced that its flagship SUV model, Cayenne's fourth-generation product, is undergoing testing and is powered by pure electricity. In the future, it will be sold alongside the third-generation model.

From the test images released by the official, the fourth-generation model still uses Porsche's family-style light cluster design style. The front face design is closer to the 911 model that can create a strong sense of sportiness, which solidifies the sports car-like presence within the Cayenne SUV range. From the side of the car, the overall proportions are longer, and the overall line and window line design will also differ from the third-generation model.

The new car will be built on Porsche's 800V high-voltage platform PPE. Porsche also stated that it will use the potentials of the PPE architecture to elevate Cayenne's handling and comfort to a new level. The vehicle will also provide important support for the rapid implementation of Porsche's electrification strategy.

Meanwhile, the third-generation model will be further upgraded in terms of power in the future. The key R&D goal will be to improve the efficiency of the V8 engine, while increasing power, it must also meet the future emission regulations restrictions on engines.

The fourth generation Porsche Cayenne is currently in the road testing stage. The test vehicle will complete millions of kilometers of tests under extreme weather and different terrain conditions all over the world, which can ensure the durability and reliability of the entire vehicle.
