【PCauto】Porsche's new 911 Carrera 4S has been officially introduced, with variants including the Targa with a hardtop convertible form, the soft-top Cabriolet, and the hardtop Coupe. The more potent GTS and the rear-wheel-drive Carrera S are separated by this model. Power, chassis configuration, and interior quality have all been clearly improved in the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S.

The enhanced powertrain is the standout feature of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S.
It is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that has been upgraded with maximum 473 horsepower, 30 horsepower more than the previous variant. At 530 Nm, the torque peaks. To improve handling and performance, the vehicle is equipped with a rear-biased Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

To provide more accurate power distribution, the all-wheel-drive system cooperates with an electronically regulated multi-plate clutch and a water-cooled front differential. The Coupe variant can attain a top speed of 307 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h (0-60 mph) in less than 3.1 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package.
The exterior design is consistent with the 992.2-generation Carrera S's design language.
The car's appearance has been improved with standard matrix LED headlights and a new front bumper. The Targa and Cabriolet models are equipped with a 2+2 seating arrangement as standard, while the Coupe model features a two-seater or two-plus-two seating arrangement. Each of these three bodily types has a distinct purpose.

Significant leather upholstery is now standard on the entire series, and the inside materials have been entirely improved. An additional wireless smartphone charging capability increases daily convenience and utility.

The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S benefits from a range of chassis technologies inherited from higher-end models.
The brake system now has the same setup as the GTS version, with 408 mm front discs and 380 mm rear discs, significantly enhancing braking performance. Rear-axle steering is now standard on the Targa 4S, allowing for a rear-wheel angle of up to 2.5 degrees, which improves low-speed agility and high-speed stability. Customers can select Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) Sport Suspension from the lineup to meet more demanding handling needs.

The 4th Quarter is projected to see the first delivery of Porsche 911 Carrera 4S.
The Coupe's starting price is £127,000, or roughly RM 750,000. The Targa model starts at £137,600 (about RM 812,000), while the Cabriolet is priced at £137,000 (approximately RM 810,000).

The latest update has made the 911 Carrera 4S significantly more closer to GTS in terms of performance. Its 473 horsepower output, sub-3-second acceleration, and all-wheel-drive system for year-round stability make it a particularly alluring choice for those seeking a balance between daily use and high performance. Its position as a mid-tier performance variant within the 911 series is further cemented by standard features like the sport exhaust system with silver tailpipes and GTS-spec brakes.
