The 2025 new Tesla Model Y is coming! Spy shots exposed!

A few days ago, a set of spy photos about the new Tesla Model Y were exposed on the internet. The internal code for the new car is "Juniper", which will adjust the exterior and interior. The HW4.0 hardware of the autonomous driving system will also be upgraded and is expected to be officially released in 2025.
From the spy photos, the upgraded appearance of the new Model Y is similar to the revamped version of Model 3. Its headlight group is more slender and sharp, it's fitted with newly styled hubs, and the rear is suspected to be equipped with a through-type taillight design, the ends of the taillight are C-shaped that improves recognition.
In terms of body size, the current Model Y has a length, width, and height of 4750/1921/1624mm, and a wheelbase of 2890mm. The revamped version of Model 3 has increased in length by 26mm and decreased in height by 1mm compared to the old model.
In terms of interior, the interior design of the new Model Y is basically the same as that of the new Model 3. The shift lever and the turn signal lever are eliminated, and the shift mode is adopted, while the turn signal button is laid out on the steering wheel. At the same time, the use of fabric instead of wood veneer, and the addition of ambient light strips through the door and the center console, and the use of carbon fiber imitation panel under the center control screen, enhance the sense of luxury.
It is expected that a small screen will be added to the rear air conditioning outlet of the new car. Referring to the refreshed Model 3, this screen can control seat heating, adjust air conditioning wind and play music and videos. As for comfort, the new Model Y seat is expected to be upgraded to greatly improve seat wrapping and support, while adding a ventilation function to the front seats. In addition, it is expected that the high-end models will add a 17-speaker audio system.

As for the power, the power information of the new Tesla Model Y has not been releaseded yet. It is expected to be consistent with the refreshed Model 3, with upgrades in the suspension system, power performance, and cruising range. Referring to the Model Y on sale in China, the rear driving version is equipped with a rear motor, with a maximum power of 220 kilowatts, peak torque of 440 Nm, and a CLTC range of 554 kilometers.
The long-range all-wheel-drive version is equipped with a front-inductive asynchronous/rear permanent magnet synchronous motor. The comprehensive power is 331 kilowatts, the comprehensive torque is 559 Nm and the CLTC range is 688 kilometers. The high-performance version is also equipped with a front-inductive asynchronous/rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, the comprehensive power is 357 kilowatts, the comprehensive torque is 659 Nm and the CLTC range is 615 kilometers.
