On August 3, the Joint Branch of Passenger Car Market Information of China Automobile Circulation Association issued a document saying that the global automobile sales in June 2024 reached 7.8 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 1%, and a month-on-month increase of 4% compared to May. The figure in June 2024 is still 10% lower than the peak value in June 2023, and it is at the median level for previous years. The sales from January to June in 2024 totalled 43.86 million units, a year-on-year increase of 3%. In June 2024, China's share of the world's car market was 33%.
