On March 28, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the Civil Aviation Administration of China recently issued the Implementation Plan for the Innovation and Application of General Aviation Equipment (2024-2030). It proposes to accelerate the improvement of the technical level of general aviation equipment and improve the reliability, economy, and advancement of general aviation equipment.
On February 27, the world's first public demonstration of a trans-sea and trans-city electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle (known as "eVTOL or flying car") flight was successfully conducted. "Shengshi Long" from the Shanghai Peak Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. (known as "Peak Aviation") shortened the single ground trip from Shenzhen to Zhuhai from 2.5-3 hours to just 20 minutes. This historic breakthrough marks the official advent of the "flying car" era.
China's Xpeng Motors showcased the Xpeng Voyager x2 at the 45th Bangkok International Auto Show.
The Xpeng Voyager X2 is the fifth-generation proprietary electric vertical take-off and landing multi-rotor aircraft, capable of carrying two passengers. The cockpit of the aircraft has a canopy above it, which can provide passengers with an excellent view. The machine has a two-way 4G/5G communication system. Voyager X2 has eight propellers and eight electric motors powered by batteries, the top speed is 130 km/hr (81 miles/hr) and a flight time is 35 minutes.
