The long-range version of the Porsche all-electric Macan makes its debut, with a range breaking through 702km

At the 27th Chengdu International Auto Show, the all-new pure electric Macan long-range version made its global debut, with a manufacturer suggested retail price starting from 598,000 RMB. As a representative of luxury car brands, the pure electric Macan long-range version launched by Porsche not only inherits the classic design elements of the Porsche family, but also fully upgrades in terms of electrification and intelligence, bringing consumers a new driving experience.

The pure electric Macan long-range version ingeniously blends modern aesthetics and dynamic elements in its exterior design. The front part of the vehicle adopts a more streamlined design language, and the front face adopts a closed design, enhancing the future sense of the vehicle. The LED headlight group is sharper, and the split design improves the lighting effect and also gives the vehicle a higher recognition. The front surround line design is prominent, and the large-sized air intake mouth and active air intake grille not only enhance the aerodynamic performance, but also give the vehicle a unique visual impact.

The body side lines are smooth, and the fastback design retains the classic body proportions in Porsche sports cars, showing a strong sense of movement. The large-size multi-forged two-color wheel and the black trim on the bottom of the car door further highlight the sporty atmosphere. In terms of body size, the new car length, width and height are 4784/1938/1622 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2893 mm, which is an increase compared to the current model and effectively expands the interior space. The CLTC’s pure electric range mileage is as high as 702 kilometers, meeting users' needs for long-distance travel.

Macan 4 and Macan Turbo are equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel-drive system. The former has a maximum power of 300 kilowatts, a peak torque of 650 Newton metres, and an acceleration time from 0-100 kilometers per hour is 5.2 seconds. The latter is even more shocking, with a system maximum power of 470 kilowatts, a peak torque of 1130 Newton metres, an acceleration from 0-100 kilometers/hour only takes 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of up to 260 kilometers/hour, demonstrating Porsche's ultimate pursuit of performance. In addition, the car also supports fast charging functions, the charge from 10% to 80% only takes about 21 minutes, greatly reducing the waiting time for charging, improving the convenience of daily use.
