Recently, there's been quite some movement under ONVO, the subsidiary brand of NIO, a pure electric vehicle brand from China. Positioned below NIO, this brand places more emphasis on meeting the needs of the general public to produce products more suited to home travel.
On May 14th, ONVO officially released a teaser for its brand new vehicle model, the L60, which focuses on the details of the vehicle's lights. At the same time, it was announced that the ONVO brand launch would take place on May 15 in Shanghai, where the ONVO L60 vehicle would officially be released. The ONVO L60 will be a contender to Tesla Model Y, and aims to take a chunk of the 250k-level household intelligent pure electric SUV market. The model is expected to hit the market in the third quarter, with delivery expected in the fourth quarter.

ONVO officials introduced that the ONVO L60 was designed by Raul Pires, a design master who once "completely changed people's views of Bentley’s exterior" and the Global Vice President of Design at the ONVO brand.

"WAY UP" is the signature styling language of ONVO, which is inspired by the uplifting spirit of the brand's logo. The ONVO L60, through the minimalist lines climbing up around the vehicle, outlines the iconic "WAY UP" headlights and taillights to imply that every family's life can "get better and better".

Looking at the photos of the vehicle released previously, the ONVO L60 has a simple exterior design with a separate headlight, and the shape of the headlight group is elongated and sharp. The side embodies a typical coupe style, equipped with hidden door handles and slender taillights that echo the headlights set.

According to the exposed information, ONVO L60 is built on the NT3 platform and is positioned as a mid-size pure electric SUV that aims at the mainstream family car market of 200,000-300,000. In terms of intelligent driving solutions, it will differ from NIO. It is only equipped with one NVIDIA OrinX (which can be upgraded to Shenji NX9031 chip in the future), and will not be equipped with laser radar. And it adopts the same pure visual route as Tesla, thus the new car will have city navigation assistance function when delivered.

In terms of battery replacement, the model is expected to only support third-generation or above battery replacement stations, not supporting first and second generation stations. The purpose is to differentiate itself from NIO.

NIO CEO Li Bin has high expectations for ONVO. He has previously stated publicly, “The first model is slightly larger than the Model Y in size. The screen is larger, the charging speed is faster, the power can be replaced, and the price is definitely cheaper. So those want to buy the Model Y can wait.” It can be seen that the ONVO L60 will fully benchmark the Tesla Model Y.

Jaecoo J7 VS Honda CR-V, which is the most worthwhile C-Segment SUV to buy
With an exterior that closely resembles a Land Rover, Jaecoo J7's sales experienced several months of rapid growth but have recently slowed down. Perhaps the market is nearing saturation, as Jaecoo J7 has already surpassed the once-dominant Honda CR-V in the C-Segment SUV category.

When choosing a compact sedan, Honda City and Toyota Vios are often two options that make people weigh repeatedly. You might be attracted to the dynamic design of the Vios but also be captivated by the City.

Perodua Traz VS Ativa, which one is more worth buying?
Traz, as a newly launched mid-sized SUV, offers more spacious room and mainstream power compared to small SUVs, but its pricing appears slightly higher than that of Ativa. Ativa, on the other hand, is Perodua's long-time best-selling small SUV with more affordable pricing and a balanced combination of power and tech features.

Perodua Traz VS Toyota Yaris Cross, where does the Traz fall short?
Before the official launch of the Perodua Traz, market expectations were actually very high because it shares the same DNGA platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross. However, sharing the same platform does not equate to the same experience, and the Traz's final performance has indeed been disappointing. Perhaps it is precisely because of the delayed launch that it has almost no competitiveness in the current competitive environment.
