2024 Beijing Auto Show: Ora Grand Cat Night Shine Edition Debuts

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the Ora Grand Cat Night Edition made its official debut. The new car does not make major adjustments in terms of design, it mainly adopts a dark style body kit, and replaces the interior style with black as the main color to enhance the vehicle's sporty properties and further cater to the aesthetics of young consumers.

In terms of appearance, the Ora Grand Cat Night Edition adopts a glossy black paint surface, which has a very high-class sporty visual effect. The front face of the new car adopts a closed design, combined with an oval-shaped headlight group, which is a bit cute. And the chrome trim on the front bumper has been blackened, making the front face more cohesive.

The body side adopts a fastback shape, equipped with hidden door handles, frameless doors, and sharp waist lines, which show sportiness and elegance, and its drag coefficient is as low as 0.22Cd. In addition, the new car is equipped with a five-spoke petal-shaped wheel hub, which is blackened and equipped with red-painted brake calipers, further enhancing the sense of sportiness. In terms of body size, the new car measures 4871/1862/1500mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2870mm.

The rear of the car also adopts oval taillights that echo with the front headlights. In the current era where through-type taillights prevail, such design can be regarded as unique rather than simply following the popular market trend. In addition, it's worth mentioning that the new car is also equipped with an electric lift wing, which will automatically rise when the speed reaches 70 kilometers per hour, and it can provide an additional 20 kilograms of downforce at this time.

For the interior, the new car also uses black as the main color, which makes it more sporty and atmospheric. In addition, to echo the exterior style, red stitching is also used for embellishment, adding a sporty atmosphere to the car. However, compared to the color scheme, the new car's design is more interesting. The new car ingeniously integrates retro and modern aesthetics, creating an interior style that is both classic and trendy. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel in the style of three connected cannons, a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel with a super sports mode switch button, and physical keys and a knob are reserved under the 12.3-inch central control screen, which well balances the sense of technology and practicality.

In terms of power, referring to the on-sale model, the new car is expected to offer optional single-motor two-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The maximum power of the single motor is 204 horsepower and the peak torque is 340 N·m. The combined power of the dual-motor system is 408 horsepower, and the peak torque is 680 N·m, with the official 0-100 km/h acceleration time being 4.3 seconds.

For the range, the new car offers optional battery packs of 63.87 kWh and 83.49 kWh. The luxury and premium versions have a CLTC working condition range of 555km, and the long-range version can reach 705km under CLTC working conditions, while the four-wheel drive performance version has a CLTC range of 600km.
