On November 17, a set of images claiming to be of the 2025 Proton Saga was discovered on the video platform YouTube, but the images did not have any official source marked. From the exposed pictures, it appears that the new Proton Saga will feature more design influences from Japanese cars, with its styling closely resembling that of Toyota models.

From the images showing the car's proportions, the new Proton Saga appears to maintain a short and tall body, similar to the current model. The current model's dimensions are 4335mm in length, 1690mm in width, 1515mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2645mm.

The current Proton Saga comes in four variants, with a price range of RM 34,800 to RM 44,800, and a fuel consumption of 6.7L/100km. It is expected that the 2025 Proton Saga will be launched with a similar product lineup, consisting of four variants.

2023 Proton Saga 1.3 Standard AT:RM 38,800
2023 Proton Saga 1.3 Premium AT:RM 41,800
2023 Proton Saga 1.3 Premium S AT:RM 44,800

Currently, the Proton Saga being sold is the third-generation model, which debuted in 2016. It has undergone two facelifts: in 2019, it replaced the Punch CVT with a modern 4-speed automatic transmission (which was upgraded to an Aisin transmission in 2023), and in 2022, it received additional features, minor design tweaks, and the new Premium S variant.
The Proton Saga is an entry-level sedan, and its main competitor in the Malaysian market is the Perodua Bezza. According to market sales data from 2022, the Proton Saga ranked fifth globally in the "entry-level B-segment sedan" category, with 55,878 units sold, while the Perodua Bezza topped the list with 66,600 units sold.

Although the Proton Saga's sales fall short of the Perodua Bezza, it still demonstrates strong market competitiveness. The Proton Saga has gained market recognition for its excellent handling, high cost-effectiveness, and Proton's consistently good driving performance. Additionally, in 2023, the Proton Saga became Proton's best-selling model with 70,184 units sold, highlighting its popularity in the market. While the Perodua Bezza leads in global sales, the Proton Saga continues to perform strongly and remains a significant model within the Proton brand.

If you're considering buying a Hilux, honestly, the comprehensive innovations in the ninth generation are worth waiting for. Jaecoo J7 VS Honda CR-V, which is the most worthwhile C-Segment SUV to buy
With an exterior that closely resembles a Land Rover, Jaecoo J7's sales experienced several months of rapid growth but have recently slowed down. Perhaps the market is nearing saturation, as Jaecoo J7 has already surpassed the once-dominant Honda CR-V in the C-Segment SUV category.

Perodua Traz VS Ativa, which one is more worth buying?
Traz, as a newly launched mid-sized SUV, offers more spacious room and mainstream power compared to small SUVs, but its pricing appears slightly higher than that of Ativa. Ativa, on the other hand, is Perodua's long-time best-selling small SUV with more affordable pricing and a balanced combination of power and tech features.

Which one is better, Honda City or Toyota Vios?
When choosing a compact sedan, Honda City and Toyota Vios are often two options that make people weigh repeatedly. You might be attracted to the dynamic design of the Vios but also be captivated by the City.

Perodua Traz VS Toyota Yaris Cross, where does the Traz fall short?
Before the official launch of the Perodua Traz, market expectations were actually very high because it shares the same DNGA platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross. However, sharing the same platform does not equate to the same experience, and the Traz's final performance has indeed been disappointing. Perhaps it is precisely because of the delayed launch that it has almost no competitiveness in the current competitive environment.
