800V high voltage platform, dual motor four-wheel drive, the 2025 ZEEKR 001 performance breakthrough

On the evening of August 13, the 2025 ZEEKR 001 officially launched. The new car has introduced 5 configuration models, with a price range of RMB 259,000-329,000. As a modified model, the new car mainly upgrades in the intelligence driving aspect, and is equipped with the vast intelligence 2.0, laser radar and two NVIDIA Drive Orin chips. The total power is 508TOPS, it can realize end-to-end mass production of vehicles and supports high-speed sections, city sections, intelligent parking and other functions. In addition, two new exterior colors, clear blue and morning fog beige are added, along with the Kr AI large model inside the car.

In terms of exterior, the 2025 ZEEKR 001 continues the design of the current model. The front face adopts a similar style to ZEEKR 001 FR, the lower part of the front of the car is equipped with a super-wide air intake, and the air intakes on both sides become larger. While retaining the split design style of the old model's headlights, the overall front of the car has a more aggressive design style. Meanwhile, the new car adds clear blue and morning fog beige two exterior colors to meet the personalized choices of young people.

The side of the car adopts a coupe body shape. It is equipped with hidden door handles and paired with 22-inch wheel hubs, the overall posture is very full and low-lying, which shows a strong sense of movement. The rear end continues the family's through-type LED tail light design, which has a high recognition after lighting, and the roof camera is integrated into the tail wing to further reduce wind resistance.

In terms of body size, the 2025 ZEEKR 001 is 4977/1999/1545mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 3005mm, which is consistent with the current model. It's worth mentioning that its air suspension can adjust the height of the body. The maximum ground clearance reaches 193mm, the maximum climbing degree is 70%, the maximum approach angle is 20°, and the maximum departure angle is 24°, which takes into account both sportiness and passability.

In addition, the new ZEEKR 001 is also equipped with an electric trailer hook, which supports electric telescopic hiding, one-key pop-up on the central control screen, with a maximum towing weight of 2 tons. The intelligent electric towing kit allows the car to have exclusive parking and braking tuning, energy recovery, suspension damping, steering effort, air conditioning, acceleration and other functions will enter conditions that are more conducive to safe driving.

In terms of interior design, the new ZEEKR 001 continues the family's minimalist design style, it is still equipped with a 15.05-inch 2.5K OLED floating screen and a 13.02-inch liquid crystal display. It is equipped with the latest ZEEKR AI OS intelligent vehicle system, built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 intelligent cockpit chip, and also applies the satellite communication technology carried on the ZEEKR 001 FR. Through these, it can realize two-way satellite messages and communication services and provides more peace of mind for ZEEKR users in areas without network signal coverage.

Furthermore, the onboard intelligent assistant Eva has introduced the AI super brain——Kr AI large model, which integrates advanced machine deep learning, natural language processing and computer vision large model technologies. Including vehicle setup, vehicle control, navigation and onboard app, can all realize completely hands-free full-scenario voice closed loop.

In terms of configuration, the new ZEEKR 001 is equipped with 28-speaker Yamaha surround high-grade audio, full-car electric suction door, matrix LED headlights, steering wheel heating, 35.5-inch HUD head-up display, 50W wireless phone charging, front seat heating/ventilation/massage, rear seat electric adjustment/heating, active environmental ambient light, independent rear air conditioning outlet, and onboard fragrance system and other luxury configurations.

In terms of intelligent driving, the 2025 ZEEKR 001 has received a major upgrade. It is equipped with its own expansive Smartdriving 2.0 and two Nvidia Drive Orin auxiliary driving chips, the total computing power is 508TOPS, which is more than ten times that of the old model (two Mobileye EyeQ5H chips, 48TOPS). It also comes standard with 25 smart driving sensors, including 1 lidar, 12 ultrasonic radars, 11 cameras and 1 millimeter-wave radar, which can realize NZP high-speed autonomous navigation assistance, city NZP navigation assistance, intelligent parking and active safety functions.

The 2025 ZEEKR 001 model also adds remote fingertip parking that allows parking on an unmarked surface. It draws a temporary parking space for yourself by dragging the vehicle icon, which can be used not only in the car, but also outside of the car through the Geek APP on your mobile phone to achieve off-vehicle parking. At the same time, APA automatic parking assist, memory parking and others will appear on the car.

In terms of power, the 2025 ZEEKR 001 models are equipped with a full stack 800V high voltage system and offers both single motor rear drive and twin motor four-wheel drive options. The single motor model has a maximum power of 310 kilowatts, a peak torque of 440 Newton meters, and an official 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds. The dual-motor model adds a front induction asynchronous motor with a maximum power of 270 kilowatts. The total system power is 580 kilowatts, the combined torque is 810 Newton meters, the official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 3.3 seconds and the top speed is 240 km/h for both models.

As for endurance, the new ZEEKR 001 offers a 95 kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery and a 100 kilowatt-hour ternary lithium Kirin battery pack, with respective CLTC cycle pure electric ranges of 675km (4-wheel drive), 750km (rear-wheel drive) and 705km (4-wheel drive). The models equipped with the Kirin battery have a maximum charging rate of 4C, and only need 15 minutes from 10% to 80% SOC. While the models equipped with the Shenxing battery have a maximum charging rate of 5C, only require 11.5 minutes from 10% to 80% SOC, and can increase the range by 256km after only 5 minutes of charging.

In terms of chassis configuration, the new ZEEKR 001 features a front double-wishbone rear five-link independent suspension, and is equipped with a brand new smart flying carpet dual-cavity air suspension, which can adjust both height and stiffness. The maximum height adjustment stroke of the body is 70mm (adjustable in 5 gears), and the spring stiffness is adjustable in 2 gears, which takes into account the fun of handling and ride comfort in different road conditions.

At the same time, it also comes with a CCD electromagnetic shock absorption system, which can achieve millisecond-level response based on different vibration data, real-time match the best damping and improve vehicle handling. In addition, it is also equipped with the "Smart Flying Carpet" feature that composed of the sensing system (front-facing camera, lidar) and the suspension system (dual-cavity air suspension, CCD electromagnetic shock absorption), which can monitor the road surface in real time through the linkage of top-level software and hardware. And it can predict the road surface undulations through intelligent algorithms to automatically adjust the chassis stiffness.
