On June 16th, the new model of Chery arrizo 8 was launched, with three new models added. Among them, the high-energy version of arrizo 8 added the "Yu plus" model, with an official guide price of 148,900 yuan, and added a 2.0T plus 8AT powertrain. The 1.6T added "intelligence" and "wise" versions, with official guide prices of 122,900 yuan and 128,900 yuan respectively, adding new features such as 8155 chip plus 24.6" dual screens and other intelligent configurations.

This upgrade, arrizo 8 high-energy version added the "2.0T Kunpeng powertrain plus Fuzhen 8AT transmission" powertrain combination, of which the Fuzhen 8AT of Chery's own research and development is the first in China to be developed from hardware to software. This 8AT gearbox has the technical highlights of high smoothness, high efficiency, high performance, and low self-weight. The overall structure is more compact and it weighs 5Kg lighter than the imported 8AT of the same level. 2.0T Kunpeng engine, maximum power 187kW, maximum torque 390Nm, 0-100km/h acceleration time is in the 7s class, and it doesn't require high-grade fuel, only just gasoline 92.

In addition to the power upgrades, the arrizo 8 1.6T new models have added technological configurations such as Snapdragon 8155 chips, 24.6-inch dual screens, four-way adjustment for the copilot’s seat, twin exhaust pipes, an electric fuel tank cap, and voice activation for the trunk, further increasing its competitiveness.

The appearance has not changed much, with lengths, widths, and heights of 4780x1843x1469 mm, and a wheelbase of 2790 mm. In terms of design, the arrizo 8 new model continues the style of the current model, its front face adopts a large size of the middle network, and the sharp angle of the shape appears very sporty. Furthermore, the lamp group has adopted smoked treatment, which is full of the sense of movement, and arrizo 8's main users are people under the age of 30.
