Bangkok Auto Show: MG Cyberster Debuts at the Show, a Fine Electric Sports Car

At the 45th Bangkok Motor Show, MG's exquisite electric sports car Cyberster made its debut, and it is designed with right-hand drive, so people who like it will not wait too long. This car is a bold attempt by MG, who has been making family car models before, and it is unexpected to design and mass-produce a car like Cyberster. However, MG, who has been trying to adhere to the British style, has injected a lot of British flavor into this car. Is this a transformation of the MG electric car? Or is it an attempt by the MG brand?
In the Chinese market, MG Cyberster has been launched and has received a lot of media attention. Although it is just a debut this time, we can refer to the price of this model in the Chinese market. It has four models, with a price range of 319,800-365,800 RMB (about 1,615,000-1,847,000 Thai baht). Of course, the final price in the Thai market may be even higher than this price.
The front face design of the new car is unique, with the front line being pressed very low, and the sides personality headlights. If you observe, you can see the ring-shaped daytime running lights inside the light group, which is imitating the round headlights of MGB. The front bumper presents a V-shaped shape, which is designed based on aerodynamics and can better guide the airflow.
The side design of the car body is more powerful, it is because of its two-stage shoulder line design and the "waist" line at the back of the door panel. The side skirt of the car integrates a spoiler, and the red brake caliper can be seen inside the multi-spoke wheel hub.
The car tail is also very sexy, with a slightly raised duck tail being very elegant, and the tail behind it is a vertical cut, which is also designed to reduce airflow turbulence. The design of the rear bumper echoes the front bumper, and the diffuser fin shape further enhances the sporty sense. It's worth mentioning that its tail lights adopt an arrow shape, which has a high degree of recognition.
In terms of interior decoration, the new car adopts a classic wraparound design and does not pursue the extreme simplicity of many electric vehicles. The sports steering wheel, triple screen, and the control area tilted towards the driver all serve the driver. In the central control part, this car uses button-style gear shifting, and the touch screen integrated into the panel beside it is used to adjust the air conditioning, etc. Definitely, it also has a "gear shift paddle", which is used to switch driving modes. And the red button on the steering wheel can instantly switch it to "SUPER SPORT" mode.
In terms of power, as a dual-motor version, a permanent magnet synchronous motor is mounted on the front axle with a maximum power of 150 kilowatts and a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 250 kilowatts is also mounted on the rear axle. The battery capacities are 64kWh and 77kWh respectively, which corresponding to the cruising range of 501km, 520km, and 580km. The new car debut did not announce more content, and the motor and battery capacity and other information use the parameters of the models on sale in the Chinese market. It is expected that there may also be corresponding adjustments after entering the Thai market.
