At the 2024 Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand, Changan Qiyuan CD 701 was officially unveiled. The new car is based on Changan's latest SDA platform architecture and adopts pure electric drive. Its design style is very unique, like a combination of SUV and pickup, which is a perfect new style.

In terms of exterior, the overall design of Changan Qiyuan CD 701 is relatively avant-garde. The front face adopts a closed middle net with a full-width headlight. And the lower surround adopts a smoked black design, accompanied by the air vents design on both sides and the smoked black wheel shape, which looks more sporty.

In terms of body dimensions, the length, width, and height of Changan Qiyuan E07 are 5045/1996mm1640 (1665/1695)mm, and the wheelbase is 3120mm. It has a 5-seat layout and offers 20-inch and 21-inch wheels for option.

The tail uses the currently popular large back-sloping coupe design, which is equipped with a ringtail light, and there are horizontal lights on both sides. The shape echoes the front of the car. Finally, a luggage rack is equipped on the roof. It's worth mentioning that the new car's trunk is enclosed under normal circumstances, but it can be electrically opened to the pickup box state, which has good expansion capabilities.

The interior adopts Changan QiYuan's family-style design and the layout is very concise. All functions are centralized on the large-size floating central control screen. There is no LCD instrument panel equipped, and the steering wheel uses a double-spoke flat-bottomed design. The armrest area has two cup holders and a wireless charging panel.
As for power, the Changan QiYuan CD 701 comes in both 2WD and 4WD versions. The 2WD version carries a drive motor with a maximum output of 252 kW (343 horsepower) while the 4WD version has 188/252 Kw (256 horsepower/343 horsepower) front and rear motors and is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack. The specific endurance information is still unclear, and the car has not yet been launched in the Chinese market.
