What would the experience be like with a pickup truck equipped with a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) system? I believe we're all curious about that. GWM has built an image as a professional SUV brand in the Chinese market. Later, with the introduction of models like the POER and the birth of the TANK brand, GWM's product lineup has become more diverse. However, unlike the Chinese market, GWM's focus in the Thai market is on the image of a new energy brand, with all its models adopting hybrid drive forms and no gasoline models, which is very different.

In order to launch POER SAHAR, GWM difinitely needs to be equipped with the HEV system. Traditional pickups tend to play the role of utility vehicles, but POER SAHAR is not simply a utility vehicle, it is enough luxurious and intelligent while possess highly professional 4×4 off-road capabilities. It is more like an off-road enthusiast's ride, and of course, when necessary, its cargo bed can also undertake the task of loading goods. It is worth mentioning that this model is the first pickup model GWM launched in the Thai market, and also the first new energy pickup in the Thai market, built on the same platform as TANK.

The front face of the POER SAHAR is ferocious, with a large area of the grille bringing strong momentum, and it is decorated with rough chrome lines. The massive logo is highly recognizable. Not only this, but the vehicle's window frame also uses chrome decoration, plus the metal footboards and roof rack. The whole vehicle presents a tough style with the taste of a professional off-road pickup.

The overall dimensions of the POER SAHAR reach 5445 (L) *1991 (W) *1924 (H) mm, and the wheelbase is 3350mm. The rugged waistline outlined by lines to create extreme aesthetics makes the whole vehicle shape sharper and full of power.

The interior of POER SAHAR will also adopt a luxury style that pays more attention to design, materials, and even color matching, such as adding more high-grade brown interior elements, a large area of soft wrap interior, and highly comfortable seats. The new car adopts full wrap custom leather seats, advanced leather material, and a fancy perforation process, equipped with ventilation, heating, massage, and other superior comfortable configurations like 8-way electric driver's seat, 4-way driver's electric waist support, and 4-way electric co-drivers seat. In addition, the rear row is equipped with a 2-way seat back adjustment. The whole series is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument and a 14.6-inch central control screen. To highlight the luxurious atmosphere, the cabin, and body adopt a fully sealed design, using a concealed rear door seam, equipped with 10 Infinite speakers and atmosphere lights that can change colors as the music rhythm changes.

In terms of power, POER SAHAR is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum horsepower of 244PS and a peak torque of 380N·m. At the same time, the system is equipped with a drive motor, which has a maximum horsepower of 106PS and a peak torque of 268N·m. It can be seen that after POER SAHAR adopts the HEV power system, on the one hand, it can have lower fuel consumption compared with traditional gasoline cars. On the other hand, due to the addition of the drive motor, this car will have stronger power performance at startup, which is exactly what a pickup truck needs.

At the Bangkok Auto Show, POER SAHAR officially opened for pre-sale, and the pre-sale time is until 23:59 on April 30. Thus, customers can register on the official website or GWM APP.
