The Haval H9 has not been replaced for nearly 10 years, and the accumulated sales performance in its original country China has performed well. The second-generation Haval H9 has recently made its official debut. On August 25th, the new generation Haval H9 officially opened for pre-sale. The pre-sale prices of three gasoline models have been announced first, with a price range of RMB 205,900 - 235,900.

At present, the Haval H9 has no models available on the Malaysian market. The most recent model is the 2020 Haval H9 2.0 Premium, priced at RM 178,798. According to Chinese prices (excluding tariffs and other conditions), the price of the second-generation Haval H9 will be around RM 125,684.

As a replacement model, the second-generation Haval H9 underwent major changes in its appearance and increased the vehicle body size. The interior has a more technological sense; there will be two power options, 2.0T gasoline and 2.4T diesel engines, and the non-load-bearing body is retained. Are you looking forward to this model? The car manufacturer behind Haval H9 is from China and belongs to the same automobile manufacturer as the world's best-selling Tank model.

In terms of appearance, the Haval H9 has a huge square air intake grille and retro round headlights. The four-spoke chrome-plated decoration strip adopts a parallel line design and is decorated with rivets. The center is embellished with a silver "HAVAL" logo. The headlights are retro square round headlight groups. There is a protective plate at the lower part of the front of the car, which can protect the front of the car from bumps in complex off-road conditions.

The side of the Haval H9 car, the car waistline runs through the entire body, the lines are concave and convex, showing the unique sense of power of hard off-road. The castle-style large wheel arch design echoes the hard body shape, highlighting the characteristics of the hard off-road vehicle. In addition, the gasoline version of the vehicle can choose 17/18/19 inch wheel circles, and the diesel version is equipped with 18-inch wheel circles. As for body size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 5070/1960, 1976/1930mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2850mm.

As for the tail of the Haval H9, the new car is a standard hard off-road style, the exposed external spare tire is quite rough (optional external spare tire cover), the vertically distributed two-point taillight group is consistent with the Haval Havoc. Of course, the trunk door also continues the side-opening design. Finally, the rear bumper is rough and protruding, the license plate frame is on the left, highlighting the tough attributes.

Both Diesel and Gasoline Engines Available

In terms of power, the Haval H9 retains the 2.0T+8AT power system while adding a 2.4T+9AT diesel power combination to cater to the needs of diesel enthusiasts. The maximum power of the gasoline version is 165kW, and the maximum power of the diesel version is 137kW. Moreover, the vehicle adopts a non-load-bearing body structure, with a chassis beam. Some models are equipped with a four-wheel drive system, and the new trailer qualification enhances its off-road capabilities and makes the vehicle more versatile. The significant increase in approach and departure angles further enhances the off-road passability.
