BYD brand's September sales hit a new high, with passenger car sales increasing 45.6% year-on-year

Recently, BYD officially announced its sales data for September, once again showing strong market performance. According to statistics, BYD sold a total of 419426 cars in September, of which the sales volume of passenger cars was 417603, a year-on-year increase of up to 45.6%. This achievement not only consolidates BYD's leading position in the domestic new energy automobile market but also lays a solid foundation for achieving its annual sales target.

From the specific sales data, the performance of BYD's two major sales networks, the Dynasty Network and the Ocean Network, in September was particularly prominent, selling a total of 401572 cars, a year-on-year increase of 46.7%.
In addition to the excellent performance of the Dynasty Network and the Ocean Network, other brands under BYD also showed considerable strength. Equation Leopard sold 5422 cars in September. As a new energy vehicle brand that focuses on individualization and youth, Equation Leopard has attracted the attention of many young consumers with its unique design concept and powerful performance.

Whereas, Tengshi Automobile, with its precise positioning in the luxury new energy vehicle market, achieved a sales volume of 10299 in September, with a significant year-on-year increase. In addition, although the sales volume of Yangwang Automobile, a high-end brand under BYD, was only 310 in September, its unique brand positioning and high-end product quality have laid a good foundation for its future development.

In terms of overseas markets, BYD has also achieved impressive results. In September, BYD passenger car's overseas sales reached 33,012 units, an increase of 17.7% year-on-year. This growth not only reflects BYD's competitiveness in the global new energy vehicle market but also demonstrates the effectiveness of its globalization strategy.
It's worth mentioning that, from January to September 2024, the cumulative sales of BYD passenger cars reached 2,736,401 units. The achievement of this result once again proves its leading position and strong strength in the new energy vehicle market.
