Chery Group's sales volume in April was 182,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 43.7%

Latest sales data shows that Chery Group's sales in April were 182,049 units, up 43.7% year on year. Of these, 89,377 were exported, up 18.3%. New energy sales were 32,995, up 165.2%. From January to April, Chery Group's total sales of cars were 711,653 units, up 55.7% year on year.

Chery Group said that its overall growth rate was much higher than the industry level. In the first quarter, Chery Group maintained an industry-leading growth rate of 60.3%. In April, the China Passenger Car Association expected retail sales of passenger cars to decrease by 1.5%, while Chery Group's sales increased by 43.7% against the trend.

Looking at the brands, Chery brand sold 117,726 units in April, and 482,947 units from January to April, up 57.5%. Star Road brand sold 8,235 units in April, and 31,728 units from January to April, up 28%. Jetour brand sold 37,248 units in April, and 144,724 units from January to April, up 104%. iCAR brand's first product, iCAR 03, sold 7,524 units in the month, with cumulative sales reaching 13,011 units.

It is known that with the acceleration of new energy, Chery Group has a series of high-performance new energy products launched. At the Beijing International Motor Show in April and various brand launch events, Chery Fengyun T9 and Star Road Star Era ET started pre-sales. Jetour Shanhai T2 officially listed, and iCAR V23, X25 and iCAR 03T, Fengyun production concept car E06, Star Road E08 concept car and so on have completed their global debut or appearance.
