DEEPAL S07 surpasses BYD, becoming the top-selling pure electric car in Thailand in April

The Thai market recently released the sales data of all-category electric vehicles for April. Noteworthy is that in April, DEEPAL S07 surpassed BYD Dolphin, becoming the champion of pure electric vehicle sales in Thailand for that month. Its monthly sales were 754 units, while Dolphin's monthly sales were 500 units.

At the same time, DEEPAL S07 also achieved a month-on-month growth of up to 90.9%.

The DEEPAL brand entered the Thai market very late, only officially landing in Thailand in December 2023, and completed the launch of the DEEPAL L07 and DEEPAL S07 models. In addition, at the Bangkok Motor Show ending in March 2024, these two cars also added new models, further enriching the product series.

It is worth noting that there was no DEEPAL L07 in the top 15 pure electric vehicle sales list announced. The monthly sales of the 2023 sales champion BYD ATTO 3 ranked behind NETA V and Aion Y Plus, at 217 units. In addition, compared to vehicles such as Dolphin which are ranked quite high, the overall price of the DEEPAL S07 is a bit higher. This also indirectly explains that DEEPAL S07 has won the attention and recognition of consumers more through design and overall strength, rather than through price advantage.
