Haval H6 HEV officially launched, early bird discounts not to be missed! Priced at RM139,800!

GWM Malaysia officially launched the 2024 HAVAL H6 HEV, a hybrid powertrain C-class SUV. This model is locally assembled (CKD) at the new contract assembler EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB) factory located in Pegoh, Melaka. But initially, 100 units of Completely Built-Up (CBU) models will be produced, after that, segueing into local assembly (CKD). GWM Malaysia only offers one variant of the HAVAL H6 HEV, priced at RM139,800, and comes with a 10-year or 1,000,000 km vehicle warranty.
2024 HAVAL H6 HEV: RM 139,800

It is worth mentioning that buyers registering the HAVAL H6 HEV in 2024 will be eligible for a five-year free maintenance package (including parts and labor). During the launch, GWM Malaysia also announced an early bird promotion. Customers who reserved the HAVAL H6 HEV before October 20 would get a retail price discount of RM3,000. Existing GWM customers would get an additional discount of RM3,000.
The market positioning of the HAVAL H6 HEV is a compact SUV. It's expected to compete with models like the Honda CR-V and the Proton X70. The Honda CR-V is priced at RM 146,900-195,900, and the Proton X70 is priced at RM 98,800-126,800. The HAVAL H6 HEV still has cost-effective attributes in the same-level market competition.


The HAVAL H6 HEV is equipped with a gasoline-electric hybrid power system, which consists of a turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine (150PS/230N·m) and a front-mounted electric motor (130PS/300Nm). The system has a combined output power of 243 PS and a torque of 530 Nm. The HAVAL H6 HEV can achieve a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.7s, a top speed of 175km/h, and a fuel consumption of 5.8 L/100 km.

In the operation of the HAVAL H6 HEV, the electric motor is the main propulsion mode, and the engine only works at higher speeds. The system will choose which power mode to use depending on the situation. In terms of the HAVAL H6 HEV suspension system, the front suspension uses a MacPherson independent suspension system, and the rear suspension uses a multi-link independent suspension system.

In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the HAVAL H6 HEV are 4683mm/ 1886mm/ 1730mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2738mm and a trunk capacity of 560L. There are five color options for the exterior, including green, silver, gray, black, and white, and it is equipped with 19-inch wheel rims.


In terms of interior, the cabin of H6 HEV Ultra is decorated with black and white leather, and rose gold decorations are used on the dashboard and door panels. Its technology package includes a 10.25-inch digital dashboard, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (both wired), a Qi wireless charger, and eight speakers.
