In recent years, the electric vehicle market in Malaysia has shown a rapid growth trend, and consumers' demand for environmental protection and efficient travel is constantly increasing. Against this market background, BYD, with its outstanding technology and rich product line, has quickly risen to become the leading company in Malaysia's electric vehicle sales.

In less than two years since BYD officially entered the Malaysian market, a noteworthy milestone has already been quietly set. Sime Darby Beyond Auto, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, recently announced that its nationwide sales have successfully exceeded the 10,000 mark. This achievement not only demonstrates the strong momentum of BYD cars in the Malaysian market, but also indicates that the popularization of electric vehicles in the region is ushering in a new climax.

To celebrate this historic moment, Sime Darby Beyond Auto organized a unique event: a convoy of 60 BYD cars headed to Malacca in grand style, demonstrating the excellent performance and extensive influence of BYD cars with practical actions.

At present, the main models BYD has launched in the Malaysian market include BYD ATTO 3 and BYD Seal. These two models have attracted many electric car consumers with their solid quality, abundant performance and rich configuration. Moreover, their sales have even exceeded Tesla in the first half of the year, becoming the best-selling models in the new energy vehicle market in Malaysia.

In addition, the BYD Dolphin, as an entry-level electric vehicle, has also been loved by many family consumers.

The success of BYD cars in the Malaysian market has set a new benchmark for the popularization of electric vehicles and infused new vitality into the global electric vehicle market. With the continuous progress of electric vehicle technology and the increasing maturity of the market, it is believed that BYD will be able to reach the next 10,000 vehicle milestone in a shorter time, promoting its further growth in global sales.
